Sheesh. How is it late August already? I’m hesitant to even type those words. However, as much as I resist it, it’s still true. The summer is sticking around and I’m hopeful for a September still full of beach days. However, with the close of August is the close of the Creamery and Margaree Walking Tours.
This Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30 will be the last days for the regularly scheduled Margaree Walking Tours for 2015. The end of August is a natural end to the Thursday to Sunday tour schedule. The Creamery will be closing around August 31, and as I am an ice cream fiend as well as tour guide, I’ve learned that the ice cream is a pretty essential stop on the tour.
People of all ages have enjoyed the tour but rather than me blather on, you can read participant’s words directly on the Testimonial page. It’s been a fantastic summer with folks from across the continent, I’ve been working on this fun map to share from where visitors have traveled to take in the beauty of the Margaree. Do you feel your town is under-represented? Well, c’mon out and take in the Tours during this final weekend!
A reminder that you can book in advance on Eventbrite or simply arrive at the Margaree Forks Visitor Information Centre gazebo with cash. If you happen to miss it this weekend, I will be booking tours by appointment only throughout the month of September.
